Not seeing Web.Config file 

I have DNN installed on my domain I was going to purchase a lic from you and install the chat module, but when I went through the instalation files I see I need to edit the Web.Config file in my portal root dir.

I entered my DNN as an admin but could not see the file, so I loged in as host, still cannot find the file?

Is there something I have missed?

My domain is hosted with Godaddy.

Any help appreciated

Hello Johno,
You will have to directly modify the web.config file in order to successfully install the chatroom module. This means you'll need FTP access or some type of file manager (other than DNN's built in file manager, which will not work for this) in order to modify the web.config file.

Once you FTP into your server, you should be able to download the web.config file and reupload it. If this doesn't work, please let us know and we'll do what we can to help.
