Hi, I am using IIS 6 and have Godaddy dedicated server, same issue as described many times here, I enable the ajaxpro and it says not enabled, has this bug been fixed? |

The problem where the installation says "ajaxpro is not enabled" is very dependant upon the environment and permissions. The problem has been eliminated on most all environments, however we continue to see problems with sites hosted at GoDaddy because of the nature of their ASP.NET hosting environment. Typically, we take these problems case-by-case and are usually able to alleviate any problems through our helpdesk. If you are continuing to have problems, please open a ticket with our helpdesk by sending email to: support@swirlhost.com
Thanks!

Don't hold your breath. It seem Will has fallen off the face of the earth. Not really a good business practice to ignore your customers who have been asking for support for 30 days or more now. |

Wow, we just bought this module over the weekend and our users love it. From reading these forums I'm getting the impression that support for it has dried up over the last few months. What a shame, it's a great module.

It does work well. Its a shame there is no support. I've been debating whether to buy the open source version so we can add more features or just start from scratch and make our own. I'm just worried about how open the source code is. I can't seem to get anyone from swirlhost to answer back so I'm not investing $169.00. |

Dave,
I'm sorry you feel that way, but we do continue to support the SwirlChat product line. However, as noted here in the forums, the best way to get support for the chatroom module is to open a ticket with our helpdesk by sending email to support@swirlhost.com.
The forums here are monitored, but not as frequently as email support. Please see this thread for more information about our support policy:

Hey, its not just me. Read your forums and your live chat. Many people feel there is no support and/or your support is not very clear. I would recommend taking down live support chat and making it a bit clearer that you do not answer posts in the forums or PMs in the forums. |

Dave,
We do answer forum posts for paying customers, and we do read PMs here on the site. As I mentioned earlier, I did receive your PM here in the forum, but when I tried to reply back to you, I got an email bounce saying that your email registered here on the site is no longer valid. We still want to help you resolve the problem you are seeing, if you will send an email to support@swirlhost.com and outline the problem, we'll be happy to help get your chatroom running again on your new site. -- Will Gillen, Swirlhost Inc. |
